It is time to choose who speaks for you. UNISON
is a democratic organisation. That means that
you elect people to speak up on your behalf
at every level of the union. And the highest
body in the union is the national executive

The NEC member's role is vital to how the union
is run. NEC members are ordinary members who
work in the public services and, like your stewards
or branch officers, give of their time to represent
If individual members have not received a paper
by 14 April then they should contact the ballot
helpline operated by UNISONdirect on the following
telephone number: 0800 0 857 857.
Lines are open from 6am to midnight Monday
to Friday and on Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Members
with hearing difficulties can use textphone
0800 0 967 968.
Members should try to have their membership
number to hand when telephoning.
The latest point at which members can request
a ballot paper is 12noon on 12 May.
