To celebrate Black History Month a Black Members event will take place on:

European Room, City Chambers, High Street, Edinburgh
This event is a celebration of empowerment, culture, and solidarity. The day will feature inspiring guest speakers, cultural performances, and opportunities for connection and discussion.
Programme Highlights include:
- Keynote speeches from Foysol Choudhury MSP, Simita Kumar, Leader of the SNP Group and Rania Obead, Convener for Stand Up to Racism Edinburgh
- Performances by local choirs, African cultural fashion walk, and Kira African drumming
- Reflections, discussions, and a Q&A with Mr Ian Ludlam, Chair of UNISON Edinburgh Branch
- Networking opportunities with refreshments and lunch provided
