UNISON’s LGBT+ Conference 2024 will be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, The Exchange, Edinburgh, from 1:30pm on Friday 8th November to 1:20pm on Sunday 10th November 2024.
All delegates and visitors to LGBT+ Conference must identify as LGBT+ and be a UNISON member. Young Members (30 and under) are encouraged to participate as are Black LBGT+ members and Disabled LGBT+ members. The more diverse a delegation we can bring the better.
As the biggest branch in the host city, it would be great if we can send a full delegation, so do please consider becoming a delegate even if you have never done something like this before. The branch is entitled to send up to 10 delegates of which 7 should be female or identify as female.
- A free creche is available for childcare at the venue upon application.
- Dependants’ care costs can be covered by the branch.
- Subsistence will be available.
- Transport costs will be available for those members who live outside the city.
- The Regional LGBT+ team hope to organise a civic reception to welcome the conference to Edinburgh.
