UNISON’s LGBT+ Conference 2024 will be held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre from 1:30pm on Friday 8th November to 1:20pm on Sunday 10th November 2024.
This will be a great opportunity to be a part of Edinburgh’s largest gathering of the LGBT+ community since Pride, meet delegates from throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK and take part in setting UNISON’s National agenda to take account of the things that matter to us as a community.
UNISON’s City of Edinburgh branch is entitled to send up to 10 member delegates, 7 of which should be female or identify as female. Any full UNISON member who identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender + may apply to their branch for a delegate place.
- A free creche will be available for childcare at the venue
- The professional costs of dependent care (including babysitting whilst at conference) and personal assistance costs can reimbursed
- Subsistence will be available
- Transport costs will be reimbursed for delegates who live outside the city.
