World AIDS Day is a global movement to unite people in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Since 1988, communities have stood together on World AIDS Day to show strength and solidarity against HIV stigma and to remember lives lost.
Last Thursday, Ian Ludlam, LGBT+ Officer with UNISON colleagues Don & Michael and Nina from Unite held a fundraising stall in the Waverley Courtyard and collected £45.00 for the National AIDS Trust.
With plenty of Red Ribbons left, the collection moved to Ian’s local, The Captains Bar on South College Street, where a further £100.00 was raised over the weekend.
