” It was a privilege to be part of the organising team for the first Edinburgh TUC International Refugee Solidarity Festival on 25 June 2022, on Leith Links. We had a fantastic line up of speakers from trade unions, refugee campaign groups, charities and Edinburgh Climate Coalition. Our sincere thanks to Councillor Katrina Faccenda for compering the event and to Deputy Lord Provost Lezley Marion Cameron for her closing remarks. We hope that the festival will continue to grow in future, giving a clear message that refugees are welcome here, solidarity”.
