Edinburgh Trades Union Council will hold their 7th memorial rally and silent vigil remembering the 72 victims of the Grenfell Tower disaster on Friday 14 June 2024 at the Mound, Edinburgh, 5:30-6:30pm. Speeches will take place between 5:30-6:00pm with a silent vigil between 6:00-6:30pm.
The event will commemorate the 7th anniversary of a tragedy that could have been avoided had fireproof cladding been installed on the outside of the tower block. This year will also see the end of the public enquiry that has so far held no one accountable. Please come along to this important event and show your solidarity to the Justice for Grenfell Campaign.
