On Saturday 22nd June 2022, Pride Edinburgh takes place in the heart of the capital for an inclusive and fun celebration of the local LGBT+ community.
This is a special year for us, as 2024 is UNISON’s Year of the LGBT+ Worker
Whether you identify as LGBT+ or not. Whether you have ever been on a march before or not. Please help us mark 2024 as a standout Year of The LGBT+ Worker and take part in this fantastic family friendly day out.
You don’t have to come alone. We will meet up for some coffee and a cake before we head off. Feel free to bring friends and family. If you are in the mood to party-on afterwards, you can carry on the fun into the early evening at Pride Festival in Bristo Square.
11:00 to 12:15 Meet up for coffee and a cake with colleagues and friends at Origin Coffee
ORIGIN COFFEE LOCATION 6-8 South College St, Edinburgh EH8 9AA
12:15 to 12:30 Head to Pride 2024
12:30 Join the procession at the Scottish Parliament
13:00 March from Parliament, up the Royal Mile to Bristo Square.
14:00 to 18:00 Pride Festival, Bristo Square, Entry is free and Atomic Kitten will be headlining.
Wheelchair and disabled access is available throughout.
If you are unable to join us for coffee beforehand, you can still find us between 12:30 and 13:00 by looking for the Unison Flags. We will be near colleagues from the Scottish Ambulance Service. They will have an ambulance with them, so you won’t miss them/us.
