Following the news that Cllr Gordon Munro’s has been suspended for three months from his party’s group at Edinburgh council for refusing to back further budget cuts, UNISON City of Edinburgh extends a warm hand of support to him and applauds his bravery in being prepared to stand up against the cuts. The cuts have had, and continue to have, a devastating impact on the provision of services particularly to those most in need and has resulted in many essential jobs being lost across the council and community sectors. Enough is Enough.
