This February is bittersweet – with progress and anti-progress in gender reform and no-doubt corresponding increases in hate crimes. Let us take strength then, from the achievements and sacrifices for our forebearers:

So how will you celebrate?
Well, why not join us at one of our Edinburgh Branch LGBT+ group meetings – a monthly Wednesday lunchtime slot and planned evening get-togethers – sign up for invites.
We’re also developing our online resources – and to kick this off, we’re starting with some of the groups film recommendations.
And why not share how you’re celebrating with friends? UNISON really would like to meet you, and celebrate – and work together – whether you’re LGBT+ or an ally. So please, get in touch!
